Driving Instructor Training

Are you interested in becoming a Driving Instructor?

We are looking for candidates to train to become awesome driving instructors and new members of our small team!

The ideal candidates:

• Are energetic with excellent communication skills.
• Are calm and friendly with a positive manner.
• Has had a full driving license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Have lots of patience too!

Who we are: We take pride in providing an excellent and ethical service to all our clients. We are a small school with a focus on the quality of instruction and service delivery. We only select the best Instructors to work with us; they must be professional, patient, friendly, and reliable. We’ve developed lesson plans that our instructors teach from, ensuring learners gain all the skills and information they need to pass their driving test in as few lessons as possible.

Other requirements:

• Current police clearance and Working With Children card.
• A digital tablet is used to display the teaching aids/lesson plans and to access your online booking diary while on the go.

Our training: We train selected candidates to become Driving Instructors with our intensive practical training. Candidates are required to pass every aspect of our hands-on training before working as part of our team.

TL141218 Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport Car Driving Instruction): We work in conjunction with the Registered Training Organisation: RMS Training and Assessment, who train and assess candidates in line with our standards and issue successful candidates with the required TL141218 Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport Car Driving Instruction), which you’ll need to become a Driving Instructor. DRIVE – Perth’s Driving School is not an RTO (registered training organisation) and therefore can’t issue the Cert IV Instructors Licence, but our training will give you all the skills and knowledge you’ll need to be a highly effective and competent instructor.
